Andi Waldherr dead

43-year-old Austrian Rally ace Andreas Waldherr was found dead under his Rally car today.
According to Austrian press news Waldherr had worked alone in his garage underneath his insufficiently secured Volkswagen Polo S2000 and was found crushed to death at 11.30h this morning. Some months ago Erich Petrakovits, the principal of the PS Racing Center, had released information that Waldherr was planning to compete with one of René Münnich’s Škoda Fabia Supercars in the Austrian ERC round at Greinbach on September 3 and 4 2011 and that the runner-up of the 2010 Austrian Rally Championship, therefore, had already tested in October 2010 together with the Münnich Motorsport team at the ERC venue in Styria.
